Welcome to Serotonin Chalet: A Modern Mountain Escape
If you’ve been craving a quiet mountain getaway with big views, fresh air, and space to actually relax, Serotonin Chalet a Modern mountain cabin might be exactly what you’re looking for. This secluded modern cabin sits above a high alpine lake and is wrapped in floor-to-ceiling windows that pull the mountains and forest right into the living space. It’s the kind of place where mornings start with coffee and views, and nights end in the hot tub under a sky full of stars.
Designed with families, couples, and small groups in mind, the chalet blends modern comfort with that cozy cabin feeling everyone loves.

Big Views and Open Living Spaces
The heart of the cabin is the open-concept living room and kitchen, and it’s a showstopper. Sixteen-foot ceilings and massive floor-to-roof windows make the space feel bright, open, and connected to nature. Whether you’re watching snowfall drift past the glass or enjoying summer sunshine, the views never get old.

The space is finished with a blue-stained pine ceiling, a wood pellet fireplace, brand-new furniture, and remote-controlled blinds. You can unplug completely or stay connected with a 50” smart TV, fast Starlink WiFi, and a Bluetooth sound system for music or movie nights.

Fully Stocked Kitchen for Real Meals
This kitchen was made for cooking and hanging out. The large island gives you plenty of room to prep meals, serve snacks, or just gather with a drink while someone else cooks. You’ll find all the basics already here oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, sugar, coffee, creamer, tea, and a full spice selection.

Appliances include an air fryer, Instant Pot, blender, toaster oven, and coffee maker, plus plenty of cookware and utensils. The dining table expands to seat up to six guests, with extra bar seating at the island for casual meals or game nights.
The Deck Everyone Talks About
Let’s be honest the deck is a big reason people book this place. Sitting above the lake and surrounded by pine forest, it’s the perfect spot to slow down and soak it all in. Wildlife often wanders through, hummingbirds buzz by, and the mountains stretch out in every direction.

You can relax in the five-person hot tub, eat outside at the dining table, or lean against the railing and enjoy the view. After dark, the stars come out in full force, making this an amazing place for stargazing any time of year.
Sleeping Spaces with Privacy and Comfort
Serotonin Chalet has three bedrooms, each on its own level, so everyone gets space and privacy.
The primary bedroom sits near the main living area and features a king memory foam bed and peaceful mountain views right from the windows. The attached bathroom includes a soaking tub, walk-in shower, double vanity, and a walk-in closet.

The middle-level bedroom has a queen memory foam bed and easy access to a second full bathroom stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. A nearby linen closet is filled with extra towels, blankets, and pillows.
Downstairs, the lower bedroom is a quiet retreat with tall ceilings, large windows, and another queen memory foam bed. One window looks toward the deck, while the other faces the forest for extra privacy and natural light.

A Loft Kids Will Never Forget
The loft space above the living room is a dream come true for kids and honestly, adults love it too. Twin beds styled like tents create a fun “camp” feel, paired with games, books, a Pac-Man arcade machine, and a telescope.
An Aurora Borealis projector lights up the ceiling at night, turning bedtime into something magical. With so much to do inside, kids may forget there’s a million-dollar view just outside the window.

Family-Friendly and Kid-Approved
This cabin is set up with families in mind. You’ll find kids’ dishes, a pack-and-play, high chair, baby monitor, blackout curtains, toys, games, books, and plenty of space to spread out. It’s a place where parents can relax while kids stay entertained.

A Few Things to Know Before You Go
An AWD or 4×4 vehicle is recommended in warmer months and required in winter. The cabin is accessed by about one mile of unpaved road. Stairs are steep in some areas and may not be ideal for very small children. Guests do not have access to the lake shown in photos, but another small lake is a short drive away.
