Solar-Powered Tiny House in the Woods on Guemes Island
Tucked away in the woods on Guemes Island, this solar-powered tiny house is the kind of place you book when you want to truly unplug. You’re surrounded by old-growth cedar trees, fresh coastal air, and the kind of quiet you didn’t realize you were missing.
This isn’t just a place to sleep. Spend the day tossing horseshoes, wandering down to the beach, or hiking up Guemes Mountain for amazing island views. When the sun goes down, return to your private barrel sauna, cool off with a cold plunge shower, and unwind under the stars with the quiet forest all around you. It’s peaceful, simple, and honestly pretty magical.

Private Sauna, Cold Plunge & Outdoor Living
One of the highlights of this tiny house rental on Guemes Island is your own brand-new barrel sauna. A short path from the patio takes you right to it. After a long hike or bike ride, stepping into that warm cedar space feels amazing. Cool off with the cold plunge pull-shower afterward, and you’ll sleep better than ever.

Outside, there’s a fire pit, picnic table, and propane barbecue waiting for you. Light the grill, grab your favourite drink, and kick back by the fire. It’s the kind of setup that makes slow evenings feel special.
We also offer three e-bike rentals, which are perfect for exploring the island at your own pace. Just message us after you book if you’d like to add bikes to your stay.

Comfortable Sleeping Spaces in the Loft
Even though it’s a tiny house, the sleeping setup is surprisingly roomy. The main loft features a California King memory foam mattress, so you can really stretch out and get comfortable.
There’s also a smaller reading nook loft with a single foam sleeper pad. If you’re booking for two people and would like separate sleeping areas, just let us know in advance and we’ll set it up with sheets as a second bed. If not, we’ll keep it as a cozy reading and lounging space, assuming you’ll both share the king bed.
It’s flexible, simple, and designed to make your stay easy.

Fully Equipped Kitchen for Easy Island Meals
The kitchen may be compact, but it has everything you need. There’s a mini fridge with freezer, a two-burner stovetop, toaster oven, coffee maker, and French press. You’ll also find plates, pans, silverware, mugs, and basic cooking tools ready to go.

We keep a few spices, condiments, and cooking essentials stocked as well, so you don’t have to bring every little thing. On the main floor, right next to the kitchen, there’s a couch and a small two-seat dining area — perfect for slow breakfasts or a cozy dinner inside.
Food & Groceries on Guemes Island
If you’re wondering about food options on Guemes Island, you’ve got a couple of easy choices.
Near the ferry landing, the main island store is open seven days a week and carries limited groceries, snacks, beer, wine, and simple meal items. It’s convenient if you need to grab a few basics.

At the north end of the island, Guemes Island Resort has a small store too. It’s about a 15-minute drive from the tiny house and opens daily at 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. You’ll find beer, wine, and a few food items there — yes, including frozen pizzas for easy nights.
Eco-Friendly Stay with Solar Power
This off-grid tiny house isn’t just peaceful — it’s powered entirely by solar energy. Thanks to a net metering system installed on the property, the home runs on clean energy, making your stay both comfortable and eco-friendly.

We’ve also kept pricing simple by not charging a cleaning fee. We pay our cleaner well because supporting local, part-time work in our community matters to us. You get a clear, straightforward rate, and we make sure the space is spotless before you arrive.

If you’re searching for a cozy, solar-powered tiny house rental on Guemes Island with a private sauna, forest views, and easy access to beaches and hiking, this might just be your perfect getaway.
